I discovered this on my first photo adventure living in
a new city. Discovering this made me realize that there will be many
new and interesting subjects to shoot here.
I saw this young girl on the beach and thought she looked very lonely. In post processing I wanted to show that sadness with the blue duotone. I think her expression is very haunting.
Santa Paula, California, held its inaugural balloon festival last year. I photographed the sunrise flight. As peaceful and pretty as this looks, the balloonist actually had a difficult time getting it airborne. The balloon kept dropping into a gulch below. I added some background coloring with Nik filters. This image was chosen to appear in “Capture Ventura County,” a coffee table book of the best photos representing Ventura County, California.
Shooting done at Burano, Venice after a shortly spring shower. I was struck by the pastel colors of the scene.

Thank you for this. You made my day!
man you are truly amazing from where do u get all these stuff....
What an awesome collection. Great gathering by you, and wonderful work by these photographers.
I definitely love the one of the little girl in the sunlight; it is a very cute photo! You are right though, the one of the girl on the beach does represent sadness very well! The one of the hot air balloon is also amazing! My favorite, absolute favorite would have to be the pastel colored photo with the umbrellas!
till then,
Jean

Amazing photos! These give me some inspiration to try something different with my photos.
This photo with rolling hills is just incredible! Other pictures are also very nice, but this one just blew my mind!
Yeah all of these photos are really nice. I really like the one of the lock with the wording on it. Its definitely got that unique feel to it. "you and me against the world" Its almost got that dark yet hopeful feeling to it.

I especially liked the second picture, bleak but at the same time it took me far away, and of course and picture of the little girl who would not like it, she is so happy makes me want to have kids :D
