16 Quick Tips For New Photographers!
Over the weekend I asked our readers in the Your Photo Tips.com Flickr Group to provide a one sentence tip for new photographers. As you can see, we have some really fantastic people involved in our little community. One of my favorite things about the group is the wealth of knowledge and help you can attain just by getting involved.
The Flickr Group is a great place to get help with almost anything camera or photography related, whether you shoot film or digital. So if you have a question that needs a quick answer head on over to our group and ask away.
Here are 16 Quick Tips for New Photographers!

Another photography tip for portraits: put the camera down 1st and talk with them. Putting your subject at ease and making them feel comfortable with you will contribute more to good images than the most expensive camera and lens you could own. Jay
As a relative beginner (I've been taking pictures for 6 months), the best advice I received was 'get close to your subject'. The difference it made to my photos was immense.
Great post! Love the advise and tips!
