Verosky’s writing style is straight forward and easy to read.  He keeps his lighting setups simple which suits these types of sessions very well.

One of the things you pick up from this book is a sense that Verosky really “gets” his clients.  He understands not just what his male clients will enjoy from the final product but, most importantly, what the female clients (the subjects) want from the final portraits.

With every posing that the author introduces there’s a short story on why these poses and images are sought after by his clientele.

The guidelines and variations are constructed in such a way that transitions and variations happen naturally and effectively.

This book is filled with great ideas on boudoir photography and enough creative freedom that any photographer shooting boudoir should be able to add to something from this book to their arsenal of poses and lighting techniques.
