7 Digital Photography Blogs Everyone Should Read
Digital photography enthusiasts have lots of company. Today, it seems
that everyone has a digital camera, and we’re all looking for ways to
improve our skills and get better pictures. Online communities and
blogs are great ways to learn tips and tricks and see what has worked
for other photographers. You can also share your own successes and
failures and post your work.
Essential Gear for the Beginning DSLR Photographer
At some point in the past we all bought our first digital SLR camera, we were baffled by the variety of gear available for it, and we struggled with the size of our budget vs. the size of our WANT.
The Importance of Photography: Angela Eaton
Photography is important to me because I can externalize my vision of the world that I can not aptly describe, inviting people into my life who may have had a different perception of me.
Taking Your Photography to New Heights
I’m honored to have been asked to write for Damien but I have to confess…I was astounded, perplexed, and incredulous at the request. After all, this site is visited by professionals, no? What could a novice photographer like me have anything to say that would educate anyone who visits here?
Seeing vs. Looking: Mike Small
Photography is important to me for so many reasons narrowing it down to just one is a challenge in itself. It is my creative release, my means of expression, my all consuming hobby and so much more.
Photoshop CS3: Add a Touch of Color
I love black and white photography. I also love the black and white photos that draw the eye by adding a touch of color to a feature within the photo.
Basic Tips for Photographing the Stars
Where I live, in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, the stars are all but invisible in the night sky. I grew up in an isolated area of Maine, and the stars were always my friends. I’d lay for hours and hours in the front yard, just gazing upward at the Milky Way and trying to identify constellations.

Great information thank you..
and happy new year to everyone..
I like the work of Mike Small. Especially his close-range photos of small objects. I'm not a specialist but in my opinion he can catch the magic of moment.
There is a fun place called www.dpchallenge.com They have photo competitions every week. And when you submit to a challenge you normally receive some feedback. Make sure that you take the picture with in the allowed time and applied to the subject at hand.
I have just bought a DSLR camera and Essential Gear for the Beginning DSLR Photographer.
