About Site Issues
As most of you are probably already aware, the site has been bogged down lately with an influx of high traffic. While growth is always a welcome thing for our community, it does mean we will be going through some down time as we switch servers. Oh the joys…
There will be a few changes along the way in the coming weeks. We will be adding a directory to the website as a gathering place for other photography websites. So if you have a photography related website, especially a photoblog, keep this in mind (there will be a special photoblog highlight addition). Expect to see it finished around Wednesday or Thursday. Furthermore, I will be increasing the number of posts per week to 3-4 a week. I have basically been able to streamline my workflow and feel I can better serve you guys with more frequency. Expect to see posts on Monday, Wednesday, and of course Friday. If, or rather when, there is something newsworthy that pops up before Friday’s link post and it demands your immediate attention I will write a short article and link you to the news.
In the meantime, if you are interested in following photography news as I find it (plus anything else I happen to find interesting) you can follow me on FriendFeed. You’d be surprised how many of your photoblogs I share with other people and how many flickr favorites I have!
See you all soon.
