Analyze this: my Freudian slip
Author in her Freudian slip, shot by my husband using my Iphone, he has a pay-to-go phone, and NO, I am not kidding!
So the other day, I wrote to the head of Citra Solv and suggested that their Lavender Bergamot brand of Citra Solv might be the better transfer medium since it is closer to having a clear cast. So while I love the Valencia Orange product, it leaves a yellow residue. I suggested that they send me the Lavender Bergamot product since it is essentially clear. It arrived and today my hypothesis bore out: it leaves no residue or color what so ever, clearly preferable when transferring your images onto fabric. So in the name of science, I give you my Freudian Slip … modeled by myself and an anonymous young male, (lest you men think you cannot wear such dainties). If you want to learn how to use this, go to my earlier blog and of course, get my book, Digital Image transfer: Creating Art With Your Photography, for this and more ideas on what you can do with your photographs. If you want a Freudian slip of your very own (or boxers), I am taking orders …
Ever Art.
