Apple releases Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update
Apple has released an update to version 3.9 for its Digital Camera RAW Compatibility software
Apple has released and update to its Digital Camera Raw Comaptibility software for the Mac OS, taking it to version 3.9. It adds support for the Raw file formats of eleven additional cameras, including the new Nikon 1 mirrorless camera models, the J1 and V1.

- Nikon Coolpix P7100
- Olympus PEN E-PL1s
- Olympus PEN E-PL3
- Olympus PEN E-PM1
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150
- Sony Alpha NEX-5N
- Sony Alpha SLT-A65
- Sony Alpha SLT-A7
The Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.9 can be accessed and installed via the Software Update mechanism of Mac OS X 10.6.8 or 10.7.2 or later. This additional Raw file support within the operating system can be used by the Finder, plus Apple's Aperture 3, and iPhoto applications.
