Case Dismissed Against Second Milwaukee Photojournalist
Less than a week after Milwaukee prosecutors dismissed the case against a news videographer, they dismissed the case against a photojournalist arrested covering a protest.
Police said they had no idea Kristyna Wentz-Graff was a photojournalist, even though she identified herself as journalist, was wearing her press credentials and was carrying two large cameras.
Her case was dismissed Monday.

It'll be interesting to see the settlement.
"They had no idea". Wow, whaere to start.. I guess that statement reads, "we got caught being stupid and can't even come up with a BAD lie"..
This reminds me of our local cops who had "no idea" one of their fellow officers was drunk as a skunk after he crashed his patrol car into a group of motorcyclists waiting at an intersection for a light to change, killing one and seriously injuring several others. Yet, when ordered to take their buddy for a blood alcohol test, they made sure to take him to a lab that they knew wasn't certified to draw blood for legal purposes, thus ensuring that the results would be thrown out of court. The cop's BAC level was more than twice the legal limit, yet the other cops on the scene claimed their friend showed no sign of inebriation. Either they are lying through their teeth (most likely) or their training in detecting impairment was really lousy (much less likely).
Trying to avoid a duplicate post.
Good move,Phred!
