Castro resigns and nobody but the media - and vendors - care
Still recovering from the festive street party last year after Castro’s second and third “death”, Miami Cubans were a little more reserved Tuesday after Castro announced his “resignation”.
Nevertheless, the media circus was out in full force.
Where else, but Versailles.
Here is the video.

Didn’t you “illegally” enter Cuba last year, meet the people and take a ton of pictures? I’d like to hear about it and see the photos.
I LOVE that! Fun way to cover it. Great video.
Carlos,
that was AWESOME! I loved your take on the media; I felt as if I were there. The little dude dressed in white was adorable listening to Colombian music. I hope I have his spirit when and if I ever make it to his age. I loved when you sped up the video at the end. I got a chuckle when you shot the Cuban girl from Santiago . . . I think your covered her best side . . . te-hee! Glad to see you didn’t run into any trouble.
Enhager,
Yes, I’ve been thinking about doing a post on that. I will get something up in the next few days hopefully.
FerfelaBat,
Thanks for the compliment.
Ms C,
Thank you. I’m sure you realized that is the same old man from my photos from the other day.
He is always around. And always very friendly. The total opposite of the guys who confronted me.
Seriously, where is the partying? There were tons of people celebrating when they thought he was dead – remember that? Why not now?
