Cato Institute produces video: Cops on Camera
The Cato Institute, one of the most respected libertarian think tanks in the world, produced the above video titled Cops on Camera, highlighting some recent cases, specifically the ones in Maryland.
The video also discusses the case of Aiyana Jones, the 7-year-old Detroit girl who was shot and killed by police during a no-knock raid.
It also features a portion of the HD Net segment in which I had a little tussle with Miami Metrorail security guards.
Also, Photography is Not a Crime is up for another South Florida Daily Blog Post of the Month Award, but I need your votes to ensure I win it. Nominee # 3. The post I wrote about our Metrorail Photo Protest.

Very educational and good points.
Oh no … another “We love Carlos” campaign ….
Carlos, are you aware of. A problem with your website’s front page? On three different computers in three different browsers, the latest post I see is about the Chicago activist. Your new posts do show up in my Android browser, however.
I’ve got the same problem as Wocka. IE8 with Vista at home – no posts seen beyond 9/8. IE6 with XP Pro at work – I can see the recent posts.
That’s weird. I see it fine from Firefox and Safari. What happens when you reload the page?
Great vid Carlos there are some very good points in there Thanks for posting it.
I have the same viewing problem on two machines using ie8 or Chrome. Third machine ie8 no problem. Tried reloading, clearing cache etc to no avail.
Thanks for posting that video, Carlos. And the site’s working fine for me (I think) using Firefox 3.6.9 on Linux.
The same old articles appear. I’ve deleted the cache and all within Firefox. I thought it might have to do with already having visited the site, so the third computer I checked with had never been used to check your website.
Works fine on Firefox 3.6.9 on a local ISP’s metro ethernet service in Alaska.

Strange that the vanity which accompanies beauty -- excusable, perhaps, when there is such great beauty, or at any rate understandable -- should persist after the beauty was gone. Do you think so? Air Jordan
Hi, Carlos,
I haven’t been able to load a new post since the 8th until I finally tried commenting. That broke the problem. I’m using Firefox 3.6.9, however my RSS feed fails to update your site so far.
Comment fixed the problem.
I was having the same problem. No new posts showed up since the 8th until this morning. Not sure why.
I’m using Firefox and had emptied my cache several times to no avail.

Excellent objective analysis. Thank you Cato Institute. The only laws we need are laws that make it a felony for law enforcement or government officials to manufacture evidence, edit video evidence or in any other way attempt to modify the evidence—for any reason. When only government employees can interpret facts, we lose our freedoms. They need to be objective observers instead of cheerleaders for each other.
