Chase Jarvis to Present at PhotoPlus Expo
Award-winning photographer Chase Jarvis will give his keynote presentation, showcasing his underground online show "chasejarvisLIVE: Creativity and the New Social Art of Photography," at the PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo in New York City on Thursday, Oct. 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This live presentation promises to demonstrate how Jarvis is redefining creativity on a global level by breaking all the rules ... Beyond photography, his early adoption of social media, digital platforms and the democratization of creativity has transformed his artistic vision into a global online movement -- and the largest online following of any photographer in the world. Bursting with innovation and creative energy -- from inventing an iPhone application, to democratizing education by creating a free online channel, creativeLive -- Jarvis has become the leader of a movement of creative empowerment that transcends photography and puts him at the epicenter of social artistry on a global scale.
Among Jarvis' high-profille clients are Nike, Apple, Starbucks, Volvo, and more.
"chasejarvisLIVE will be one of the most enlightening and entertaining presentations during PhotoPlus Expo and a great way to kick-off the trade show this year," says Jeff McQuilkin, Group Show Director for Nielsen Expositions, which owns the PDN PhotoPlus Expo trade show. "Chase brings the same level of energy, passion, and education that is in line with the goals and objectives of PhotoPlus Expo every year. We are excited to have him share his passion and expertise with attendees."
Designed for professionals in the photographic and imaging industries, PhotoPlus showcases the latest advances in photography, both traditional and digital. Held annually at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, attendees have the opportunity to explore an inspiring array of photography and imaging products and services - everything from image capture and color management to retouching and storage - all from the industry's leading manufacturers.
The show also offers more than 100 photography and imaging seminars and hands-on workshops taught by world-renowned experts with a focus on cutting-edge innovations in digital imaging products and techniques.
