Cop who beat student for untucked shirt jailed on rape charges
The suburban Chicago cop who was caught on video beating a 15-year-old student for refusing to tuck his shirt last May is being accused of raping a woman while holding a pillow over her face.
He also killed his ex-wife’s new husband last year by shooting him 24 times in front of their children while he was a cop for another suburban police department.
He was suspended for that incident and eventually found work with the Dolton Police Department, where he ended up beating the special needs student who weighed only 140 pounds, breaking his nose and lacerating his face.
A few months later, he allegedly threatened an Indiana woman with a knife. Then later raped her with a pillow over her face on September 14, according to the Chicago Tribune.
It is no wonder why the Dolton Police Department refused to release his name this week when the video of the student beating emerged.
Christopher Lloyd, 38, has been incarcerated in Indiana on a $110,000 bond since last month. He faces 20 years in prison for the rape allegation.
His ex-wife has also filed a wrongful death suit against him and the Robbins Police Department for the killing of her new husband in February 2008.
Chicago police accepted his claims of self-defense even though he drove to the couple’s home while off-duty and got into an argument with Cornell McKinney, before shooting him 24 times.
It is not clear whether he reloaded in that incident, but if he did, it would make it hard to believe he was acting in self-defense.
The suit claims the autopsy contradicts the police investigation. I’m sure it does. The Chicago Police Department should be sued as well.

He had to have reloaded. I think the biggest pistol magazine for a Glock is 21 rounds.
Jesus Christ… Mad dogs are shot in the real world.
I am sure the shooting victim was resisting right up until the 24th round was fired… Yea, right. I like the statement that they accepted his explanation of self defense, and probably stopped the investigation right there.
Self defense? 24 times? WTF?????? Even if it WAS a good shoot why would you hire a guy that took 24 shots to kill someone? Is he blind??
The Chicago Police Department should be DISBANDED as well.
Lets not let the number of bullets be the determining factor in this guy being a douchebag.
Many shooting schools teach to shoot until the threat is stopped.
This includes reloading if necessary.
Keep in mind I suggested hanging this waste of flesh yesterday.
And by ‘mad dogs’ I mean this monster in human form.
This is what you get when you give police special treatment when they are accused of a crime.
One can only hope that if this alleged rapist is actually convicted (and I don’t really expect that a system that favors police will do that), he serves every day of the 20 year sentence – or however long he lasts in general pop.
Wow. This should be front page, all over the MSM. Not the cop himself, but that such a broken blue line system can allow it to go this far.
And isolated incident my rear, *no* isolated incident should go this far before, at the very least, he’s permanently fired from all police work.
I think the sex offenders list is a load of crap, but maybe a list we *do* need is a police offenders list? To bar employment in police and security services for life?
The police “Protect and Serve” – not you – but the elite. If they hurt you, the elite don’t care. That’s why they get slapped on the wrist with the worst of offenses. This cop is very useful trusty to the elite, and he’ll be back on the streets patrolling in no time. The US is a gigantic open-air prison, and whining to the elite wardens about how fair things are is really helping, isn’t it?
So basically a killer, child abuser and a rapist.
Well, allegedly.
It sure is a good thing he got taken off the street and up before a court before he did anything serious. Like set a cat on fire or shot a dog.
/sarcasm
(most of the sarcasm being that we just don’t know of any animal cruelty at the moment.)
‘jones’ and ’10-8′ are racing to explain his actions.
10-8 hasn’t been heard from since August.
Johnny Law is too busy having paranoid fantasies and cheering on G20 thugs to comment, I’m sure.
Jones is probably just a sock puppet for one of them or their ilk.
Wow, what aworthless sack of crap he is!

The only reason anyone would have to shoot another is if the one being shot is a zombie. So, was the shooting victim an undead? I can see two or three shots; but two, maybe three clips worth?
And then… why he body-slams a a 15 year old special-ed child half his size? I mean… wow…
now i totally respect the police the law enforcement officials, but because of that they need to be held to professional standards and also,
thats why all parents should teach their kids black karate’ that particular cop should have had his neck broken, when he started picking on unarmed citizens.
If I were raped by this guy I’d probably blow that entire station up. People really need to start doing this. Teach them just how badly a rotten apple can spoil the bunch…
Goddamn we need a Dexter.
I hope they yell “Short eyes! Short eyes!” when leading this sick, piece of shit to his cell. I hope this waste of breath gets raped in ever oraphace he has.
This is a troubling story that received a lot of press. But I don’t think it belongs on this site. The subject of police taking improper/illegal action against photogs is a big subject. Posting “all bad things cop do caught on tape” dilutes the original purpose.
Another cop acting stupidly.
Don:
“Christopher Lloyd” “chicago police department” on google returns 137 results. Switching Dolton for Chicago gives only 52 results.
Compare that to:
“obama” “Nobel Prize” with 18 MILLION results.
or:
“rodney king beating” with 2.4 million results.
52 does not make “A lot of press”
it makes “zero press”
If i hadn’t read it here, i’d never have heard about it.
[...]Officers name is Christopher Lloyd, which could be a nom de guerre assigned[...]
I’m guessing, if this is true, that his name is really close to that, and that they changed it to lloyd to get search hits with the guy from back to the future.
That’s messed up, if true.
Think about the reality of shooting a guy 24 times.
No way anyone is still standing after begin shot six times so the guy was probably on the ground while the guy hovered over him unloading at close to point blank range. Watching the guys face and body explode into red spongy bits while he’s begging for his life, then stopping to reload before unloading the rest of the bullets into a lifeless body.
That wife is going to get paid.
Kudos Carlos. I haven’t heard about this anywhere else but here…
He needs to be unmercifully stretched open in a maximum security prison.
Why is this not the hottest topic on the news???
The only place I’ve read/seen it is here.
I guess the Liberal news outlets are too busy hammering Obama for real news!
He is being severely undercharged the U.S. let’s go a rapist who abuses children and kills people?
Wow and one was to think that the us is the land of the free this kind of attitude from the police department and the judical system for calling this selfdefense is unacceptable.
I first want to put out there that I am an avid supporter of police officers and the work that they do. My uncle proudly serves with the NYPD and I myself hope to start the Academy as soon as I graduate from college. That being said…Christopher Lloyd is an animal. The beating of a 15 year old and the raping of that woman should never have happened in the first place because once he shot someone 24 times, he should have been thrown UNDER the jail. He didn’t shoot just anybody…he shot his ex-wife’s husband. Clearly he was not acting as an enforcer of law and trying to defend himself; he was acting on jealous rage. And to shoot someone in front of his CHILDREN?! Even if it was one shot instead of 24, that is reprehensible. The Dolton Police Department needs to take some of the blame. He was already suspended (which is pretty disgusting…that’s not even a slap on the wrist, more like a caress), did they not think to investigate WHY? Or did they just ignore it? Either way its despicable. I included my earlier disclaimer because I do not believe that all police officers are as vicious and clearly disturbed as this individual, nor do I believe all police departments act as irresponsibly as Chicago and Dalton. I disagree with a previous comment that claims that the police are not here to protect and serve the common citizen. But I do agree that it is people like Christopher Lloyd who erode the public’s trust in men & women in uniform, and these offenders need to be dealt with as severely as a civilian would.
Samantha,
It is up to officers like your uncle and like yourself when you become an officer to ensure these types of animals are weeded out of the system before it gets to this point.
When that the good officers start doing this instead of just ignoring the issue for fear of retaliation (because retaliation does happen), then those of us who are cynical will begin to respect police more.
But until that happens, it’s pretty difficult to trust officers.
Although extreme, this is not an isolated issue.
But I appreciate your comments and your disgust. He is lower than an animal.
yes photography is one types of art …..
