This is a cheap way to remove filters. It is a rubber thingy meant to remove lids from jars. I found mine at the dollar store.

Every once-in-a-while I find a filter that will not budge when I try to remove it from a lens. The other day, I happened to be in a dollar store when I found this great little tool in the kitchen gadgets section. I figured that if it could open a difficult jar, it could easily remove my stuck filters. It was only a buck and it works!
