Did La. police pull a man over for his "Don't Tread on Me" bumper sticker?
The World Net Daily is reporting that police in Louisiana pulled a man over because he had a “Don’t Tread on Me” bumper sticker on his car.
However, the conservative newsite also reports that police in the area failed to confirm the traffic stop.
And the site also refuses to identify the suspect involved.
In fact, the story came from a relative of the suspect, whom the World Net Daily also refuses to identify.
So why am I even bothering to write this story?

If WND says the sun rose today, I’d seek independent verification.
Agreed on that point I have found many of their stories to be BS kinda like the enquirer
louisiana is a really conservative state… complete with horseshit corruption and wacky pornstars applying for senate seats.
they wouldnt pull someone over for a don’t tread on me sticker unless they were swerving more than myself at a club.
I’m still tracking down the details. There seems to be some folks who are thinking that there’s more to this than a bumper sticker.
Another fella, who has family involved with Louisiana LE (as well as his wife and her family) is calling BS in that most of the cops in that area agree with the Gadsden Flag’s message.
And WND is the comics section without the drawings. Read accordingly.
Pulling someone over for a “Don’t Tread On Me” bumper sticker? Please. I call BS.
I live here. Call BS all ya like. The BS is likely the fecal residue from this guys encounter with some really large turds.
This is the town where Howard Hughes was arrested for vagrancy.
This is the town that beats up their golden geese (movie folks) and rehires turds for cops that oughta be flushed.
I love my hometown. No BS. I really do.
I just despise thugs of all colors and flavors.
Ya’ll come on down to ‘ Louisiana’s Other Side’, now ya hear?
I asked police to move out of my driveway so my customers could pull in and get out. After getting punched I was arrested. Nothing surprise me. I opened my business that day glad to be in America, by 1 am the next morning I was glad to be getting out of jail.
Notwithstanding the ad hominem attacks against WND, or the speculation that LE must be presumed to be conservative and thus in agreement with a Gadsden flag—I can certainly believe that a cop is totally capable of such a stunt. Two years ago I had a state trooper try to order me move my car out of a handicap parking space in a highway rest stop (the car has permanent handicap plates) and then make disparaging remarks about the McCain sticker on my rear window. Cops are capable of being completely stupid about pretty much anything, including about photography being “illegal.”
