Did you vote for Barack Obama?
I’ve made no secret of my politics on this blog even though I mostly write about things that both democrats and republicans agree about, which is why I have a fair amount of democrat and republican readers.
But I’m curious about my readers. I know there are many who read but never comment. And I do appreciate how this blog has proven that we can see beyond politics in support of the First Amendment.
So if you don’t mind, take the quick poll below. And feel free to elaborate in the comments section.

No, but I knew that my state would go for him. I wanted to show my disappointment in the Republicans by writing in a different Republican. I think I would have voted for him if this was a swing state
No, but if I had a vote in the US I would have voted for him.
I am republican but voted for him because he was the better candidate
Carlos you should have included a response for your international audience:
No, but if I could have voted in the US I would have voted for him.
Hopefully they won’t hold a grudge.
I voted no and not convinced, because I shall remain a Ron Paul supporter. Between Obama and McCain, however, Obama would be my vote.
It’s all for naught, though, as I didn’t vote for anybody at all – left straight from work to a fire call and didn’t get home til after the polls closed.
I voted for him and think he is the right choice for these times. Speaking of voting, I voted for your blog, too.
Yes, I voted for him, would do it again in a heartbeat. My own state of North Carolina he won by only 10,000 votes. In one of the pricincts in my county, he won by 3 votes. Just 3. In my first election, that proved that everybody’s vote really does matter.
Obama. Happy Day.
Carlos,
He is now my President.
I pray he is the best guy for the job. I wish you had another category … Too Early To Tell.
I will respect and give him the benefit of my many doubts (in re: his ideas, not his image) until I disagree. At which time, I will state my case against the idea. To stay quiet and follow sheepishly would make me un-American, methinks.
