Fantasea FP7000 underwater housing for Nikon P7000
Need a waterproof camera? Well, if you are considering getting, a Nikon Coolpix P7000, Fantasea have just released details of the FP7000 waterproof housing unit for it. You’ll be able to go as deep as 60 metres to find Nemo. And if you’re into outdoor activities,—you know, hunting, fishing, and shooting—the FP7000 will protect your camera when you’re out and about doing those.
You can still access all the camera controls and functions, which is rather useful, and the housing is shock resistant for those unexpected encounters with sub-aquatic rocks. It’s compatible with a wide range of accessories and it also comes with a special mount for lighting accessories of your choice and a removable flash diffuser.
The double O-ring protects the camera from damaging elements like water, dust, and frost. Once you have taken your pictures, you can easily transfer them to your website or blog thanks to the removable double fibre optic cable connection.
No exact release date is available yet, but it is likely to be early 2011.
