GALLERY — 5 Pairs & 1 Pear

We photographers have much to be thankful for

The PEAR's shadow shoots dramatically across the counter and out of the frame, creating compositional tension.

NIGHT BLOOMING CEREUS cacti need to be photographed just after dawn, before the flowers collapse and shrivel in the dry desert climate.

Mating GIANT GRASSHOPPERS, normally rare, were everywhere during late summer in the Casas Adobes area of Tucson, Arizona, USA.

GRAND-DAUGHTER and GRAND-MOTHER are as happy with one another as they appear to be.

Speaking of rare, these APPLE MUGS are harder to track down than a giant Arizona grasshopper in a Minnesota winter.

Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements PILLOWS look great with the color contrast of blue and black against the red sweater.

Additional Nemo Pixiq Galleries and audiocasts can be found here. Thanks for viewing, reading, and listening. I welcome your comments.

All the above photos were taken with a handheld consumer point and shoot pocket camera in automatic mode. Limited cropping was done. Minor gamma adjustments using Adobe Photoshop CS 5 Extended's Levels were used to prepare the images for Pixiq posting.
