Pixiq

Montara State Beach is a short drive along coastal Highway 1 from San Francisco, and from its southern neighbors. This overlooked gem has lovely hanging and bluff area wildflower gardens, plus splendid erosion formations.

After a day exploring the beach and its wild natural areas, I was awed by the stark ocean reflecting setting sun.
