Has anybody had trouble logging on to this site?
A couple of readers from both sides of the Atlantic have informed that they are sometimes unable to access this site, receiving a “forbidden” page instead of the home page.
I have no idea what this means so I need to contact Go Daddy. But before I call them and spend half the night trying to figure this out, I’d like to hear from anybody else who has had issues accessing this site.

When are they unable to access it?
I know it was hanging my Nokia a couple of days ago, but that’s not a forbidden.
Was it giving a number as well (like 503 – forbidden)? or was it another page?
Hmm, would that be the same GoDaddy.com hosting site that shut down and refused to host RateMyCop.com after the police complained about the site?
Curious indeed, if you were conspiracy-minded at least. Hope you get it sorted out!
It’s been working good for me. A while ago I used to have problems.
RateMyCop.com.. that sounds like an interesting site. I try to stay away from godaddy.com.
Everything’s good over here in Washington State.
No problems on my end. May have been a temporary issue.
Visitors could try using Herdict Web to track this… I just tried http://carlosmiller.com through it and marked it accessible as it loaded fine for me.
http://www.herdict.org/web/
from their About section:
“(Have you ever come across a web site that you could not access and wondered,”Am I the only one?” Herdict Web aggregates reports of inaccessible sites, allowing users to compare data to see if inaccessibility is a shared problem. By crowdsourcing data from around the world, we can document accessibility for any web site, anywhere.)”
Site not working for Google Chrome browser:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.33 Server at AppStuff Port 80
Works fine with IE but I prefer Chrome. BTW, great site and thanks for being a first amendment proponent.
Firefox + AdBlock + NoScript, or nothing at all
I am having a hard time finding your appeal, where is it posted on the site?
No, never had any problems accessing CarlosMiller.com
No problems on Safari or iPhone.
Your site hasn’t been loading during non business hours. I have tried probably 10 times over the past two weeks during the hours of 8PM – 2AM and haven’t been able to pull up the site.
I thought maybe you were trying to save a little $$$ by only keeping the site up during the day.
Rejected access is using Firefox. Accepted access using Internet Explorer
