Help Albuquerque Police Chief Ray Schultz make an informed decision
Considering that Albuquerque Police Chief Ray Schultz refuses to comment on last week’s arrest of a news videographer until an Independent Review Panel has seen the
video, we should make it our civic duty to help the chief decide the fate of the arresting officer.
Thankfully, KOB-TV investigative reporter Jeremy Jojola has set up a poll on his blog titled “What should happen to Officer Guzman?” with the following choices.
- Written Warning
- Suspension Without Pay
- Termination
- Nothing
Jojola will keep the poll up for the next six days. Afterwards, in case Chief Schultz has not seen the results, I will personally email him the final tally.
And hopefully by then, Schultz will have had enough independent advisement that would enable him to make the right decision.

cops messed up he needs to be terminated, and quik.
When you have a badge and a gun, you can do any damn thing you want and nobody can do anything about it!
You can beat a suspect while they are in jail!
You can beat a photographer!
You can pull people over without due cause!
You can even dump a drunk out in sub-zero conditions too die!
You can do anything you want when you have a badge and a gun!
Carlos:
Thanks for posting this to my blog. Well see what happens with the poll–and thanks for taking notice.

Thank’s for the info. I will come back again for sure. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Mozak
I think he should stay terminated, this kind of stuff goes on way too much and cops need to learn to take responsibility for their unwarranted actions against law abiding citizens!
