Fun with high-speed photography

Testing the Triggertrap

An early attempt at getting it right

Some of you know that I've spent the past six months or so creating an awesome photography gadget - the Triggertrap. We're currently in our very last phase of testing (exciting!!), and as part of that, I've been doing some really cool high-speed photography stuff:

Awesome, eh?

I did a little video explaining how everything works, too:

you are awesome!! love the post!! trigger happy!

Looks a promising, neat little piece of hardware, but it still feels a bit too prototype-ish.
Usually high speed photography involves blowing things like blowing water balloons or dropping liquids and looking a Triggertrap I see some of exposed electronics and it isn't as rugged as I wanted it to be (like the trigger from Amberpixel Ax3). And I still haven't figure out what sensors I can use with Triggertrap, like a infra-red or an external mic.
