I Hate Fashion
Tips for better portrait, wedding and family photos.
I Hate Fashion!
I told him even if he hates fashion photography he can learn a lot from watching my upcoming Fashion & Beauty Workshop taking place via CreativeLive. The techniques, tips and advise I will share on fashion and beauty photography can help you stand out from the crowd of other photographers who are shooting portraits, families and wedding images the same way. A sure way to stand out from the crowd is to do things differently and fashion is all about constant change and doing things different.
The advise and shooting techniques I will share will benefit any type of photographer, even if your interest is in shooting landscapes. Tune in this Friday - Sunday and you will see exactly what I mean as there is something for everybody. My portraits were born from my fashion and beauty roots. Even my Polar Beauty image has deep roots in my fashion and beauty background. When shooting fashion and beauty stories you are always thinking about the story and how it will run in the magazine. For powerful spreads we want images that complement each other, so we are constantly aware of shooting tight and long, movement and still, direct eye contact and images where the subject is not looking in the camera. These fashion and beauty skills will improve the way you shoot everything from landscapes to children, weddings to portraits. To learn more make sure you tune in this weekend for the Fashion & Beauty workshop via CreativeLive.
I will shoot with the Sony A900 and use several of my favorite lenses. You can watch the live shoot and send questions in via email. It will be an amazing learning experience for all.
