If you like a Leica…LOOK at this!
WOW!
Ok, we all know that just below the surface, everyone wants an iPhone! The iPhone camera and all the imaging apps have become part of the fun of taking pictures. And for many it is the camera of choice.
But if you want to have even more fun, you need to get your hands around the…
GIZMON iCA!
…Check this thing out!

This is an iPhone? It is an iPhone camera… kinda!
I would say, an iPhone plus!
This little lovely is a functional snap-together polycarbonate case/cover that will turn your iPhone into a sweet looking rangefinder resembling a wonderful Leica style retro rangefinder from the 1930'-1950's.
iPhoneographers will now be able to look like and shoot like real street photographers.
The shutter button actually controls your iPhone shutter. It works through the volume control.
There is a working optical viewfinder. No more holding your camera out to view the subject. Unless you want to!
It has lugs for a strap! Which is cool because real Leica's have straps.
There is an accessory tripod adapter available for those night shots.
The actual pictures are taken with the iPhone while the mock lens has a convex mirror for use in taking self-portraits. You can also add auxiliary lenses over the iPhone lens using the built in magnetic adapter. The accessory lenses provide fishey and macro capability. The back of the cover allows full functionality of the iPhone.

Price is $65.00 in three colors (Black,White and Brown).
I would love it even more if Apple moved the lens to the center of the iPhone and if the GIZMON iCA dials and buttons could somehow ALL be made iPhone functional. A working flash might also be cool! And to give it that retro functionality, it would be great if the focus tab could be used for manually focusing the iPhone lens. Just like a real rangefinder camera.
But hey, this is a cool start in what I believe is another FUN way to play with an iPhone.
Better than a sticker!
