iOS 4.1: HDR Photography Feature for iPhones
What are "they" saying about it?
Apple introduced their new iOS 4.1 operating system last week and one of the new features that everyone's buzzing about is HDR photography. Press the "HDR On" button at the top of your iPhone's picture-taking screen, and the camera will take three photos in quick succession, mixing the most "correct" exposure elements from each to create one high-dynamic-range image. AppleInsider reviewed the new HDR feature and got mixed results.
A worthwhile note: Camera 360, an app that offers HDR for Android, has been available since at least May, 2010. Oh, Apple. You're so good at marketing.
