It's the New-Contributor, End-of-Year Rush!
Pixiq Welcomes Heather Baird, Haje Van Kamps, Stephanie Roberts, and Todd MacMillan!
Perhaps you've noticed some new faces around Pixiq in the last few days? How observant of you!
Indeed, we're all excited to welcome four new talented contributors to Pixiq...

Heather Baird introduces us to the world of food photography, bringing us not only her delectable images from her award-winning blog Sprinkle Bakes, but also her tried-and-proven techniques for serving up top-notch photographs of your own culinary creations.

Haje Jan Kamps (pronounced Hai or Hiya) joins us from Photocritic.org—a fantastic blog where he's cultivated a dedicated following over the past 5 years. He's bringing his years of experience as a traveling photographer, author, and (of course) critic to discuss hot new trends, photo industry news, and the latest camera gear.

Stephanie Roberts is a documentary photographer, author of two books, and Shutter Sister extraordinaire. Between sharing her stories of traveling the world, Stephanie will also be giving practical advice from her experiences of working with clients and on digital media storytelling assignments.

Todd MacMillan owns and operates Digital Image Cafe, a fantastic and multifaceted online photo community where opinions, advice, and critiques fly among enthusiastic members as they help each other improve their photography. Todd will be sharing his wisdom from seeing this community flourish, in addition to a variety of other articles of photographic interest.

Okay... I need a cooler head-shot! Note to self: Get a beret!
Too funny!
That photo was part of the unfortunate fall-out of me participating in Movember.
At least I didn't have this one, because then nobody would take me seriously!
(mind you, I am in no immediate danger of being taken seriously anyway ;)
Cheerio,
~ Haje
Hey, beret's are in style, lol. Could always go for the backwoods look with a Davy Crockett coonskin cap!
Maybe I should use my classic shot;
yes, get a beret - all the coolest profile pics feature them. ahem, mine is cropped out here :(
although the cookie jar pic is so awesome too - just lose the "uptight real estate guy" profile pic :)
There! I changed my profile picture! Not as sultry and cool as Haje, but it should do. LOL!
Glad to be among you! Todd, yes, that's much better. Excited about what's happening at Pixiq.
