Kobe Bryant Accused Of Assaulting Man In Church Over Suspected Photograph

As parishioners rejoiced in the name of the Lord Sunday, Kobe Bryant suspected a fellow churchgoer of snapping his photo.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar snatched the man’s phone and examined it, quickly realizing the young man had not snapped his photo.
Bryant returned the phone and left the church before the service was complete.
The man with the phone ended up going to the hospital with a minor wrist sprain.
Now San Diego police are investigating the incident that took place at St. Therese of Carmel Church in the upscale neighborhood of Carmel Valley, according to the Los Angeles Times.
We know from past incidents that police find it acceptable for people to assault or threaten other people who take their photos, so it will be interesting to see how this case turns out.

We know from past incidents that police find it acceptable to assault people who do take your photo...
But Kobe Bryant, for all his stardom, is just a Mundane. Only a cop or other exalted government employee has the "right" to bash people for taking a photo.
Here's a case where a man threatened to pull another man out of his car after he was suspected of photographing his girlfriend's son.
Cops investigated the man who was taking photos but not the guy who threatened him.

And let's not forget the recent incident in Canada where a Muslim woman punched a man for photographing her, but police refused to do anything about it.

You're right, Carlos. I'm guessing that in this latest case, Kobe Bryant's fame will actually work against him, however. The angle will be "Mundane tries to use his fame to act like a cop." I'm expecting him not to walk away scott-free.
I suspect a small token of "fan" appreciation and some tithing will make this headline go away.
There is always smoke around Kobe.
What, a jock assaulting someone and getting away with it!? That NEVER happens in the U.S. where eeeeveryone is equal...
There are some very famous people who are really small. Then there are some really famous people who are just the greatest guys/gals you'd ever want to meet. I guess ya never know which famous person is going to show up.
This is just one more reason for me to hate this rapist douchebag.
Hey, pics or it didn't happen.
