Life Through The Looking Glass
More Than A Snapshot
That’s the idea behind looking at life through the glass of a camera and capturing art. We’re all human beings and humans are a naturally curios species. The camera allows this curiosity to manifest itself in extraordinary ways. From the beginning cameras were trained on humans in action and in life. Smaller cameras made this form of artwork even more prevalent today.
Photographers wielding small, yet capable, cameras are free to mingle with people and take wonderful images almost without notice. It’s this flexibility and awareness that blesses us all as both creators and viewers of art. The glimpses of life brought to us by photo-journalistic photographers offer a raw and emotional tapestry of human life in all it’s wondrous glory.
Go out there and observe the human lives around you. Be a curious creature and open your eyes to the emotion and imagery that can occur at any given time and in any given moment. Be open to the art of capturing life.
