Making of...... (Marc Terenzi)
Hi guys,
In my 2nd post I'd like to show you some inside stuff of a shooting I did some weeks ago in Germany.
My job was to take pictures of Marc Terenzi and his crew. Marc Terenzi is an American singer as well as the initiator of the Terenzi Horror Nights and a very creative guy. Maybe some of you know him.
Before I give you some information, I'd like to show you the final picture:

Many people think there is a lot of retouching and photoshop inside. But I retouched the image no longer than 30 min. Please take a look at the raw file and let me know if you'd like to know something.

It was very difficult to shoot on this location, cause we didn't have much room/space to shoot. We used 2 strobes to light the picture.
But dont forget... we also used the available light around the location (ISO 1000). The main light from the front was done with a SB900 and a small softbox. The light from the back is also a SB900 with no softbox etc.
Here is a scribble of the set up for you (sorry I'm very bad in scribbling *g*)
But I changed the light from the back later in photoshop. I didn't like this star-light which you can see in the raw file.
In photoshop I changed the color more into blue and I raised the contrast. If you like I can show you a tutorial about those steps in a next post. Just let me know.
I always work in a team. This is not only MY picture. This is the picture of my TEAM!
If you have any questions let me know - no secrets:-)
See you soon,
Calvin

Does a model/person you're photographing ever come back to you and say, "You made me too skinny?"
I just feel like that must be a really touchy thing to deal with...any thoughts?
Hi Emily, how are you?
Normaly the models come back and tell me that they look to old and edgy:-)
Never had a model who thought to skinny.
But maybe one day that will happen:-)

That makes sense!
Hey Calvin: A big welcome to Pixiq!
I am already old and edgy, so maybe you can just make me a little thinner?
Seriously....It was great meeting you at Photokina, please let us know the next time you are coming stateside so maybe the rest of the crew can meet you too.
