Man To Implant Camera in Back of His Head
Will Take 1 Photo Every Minute
Sounds like a headline you see at the checkout counter. True story. I heard it first on one of my favorite sources of the news, Jay Leno. I found the article in the Wall Street Journal. This NYU professor, Wafaa Bilal, is going to have a camera implanted into the back of his head to automatically take one photo every minute for a year. In case you're still looking for that special gift for that photographer in your family, take a look at the article.
Doesn't he look happy about this? He does have a website supporting this project called "3rd I". Get it? Third eye. When you see him heading to the bathroom, you might want to hold off a bit.
I love photography, but not sure I'd go this far for a photo project. I think I'd rather stick to the Looxcie, the 1 ounce ear mounted camera I wrote about earlier. http://tinyurl.com/255yz2k
I don't have much more to say about it other than - "eeeuuuwwww". What can you say? I'd love to hear what you folks think about it.
