New site for - American Photo
The magazine
American Photo which is a sibling publication of PopPhoto, has just launched their new website. What I've seen so far is first rate photography and excellent articles. Like Pixiq, the magazine covers current as well as historic photographic topics. I found the articles to be inspirational and eye opening.
American Photo has been in publication for many years. I believe I still have a few copies of American Photo that I bought when I was learning photography. Those were the days before the web and way before anything such as Facebook, Flickr, 500pix, Google+ or blogs like Pixiq. With the exception of camera groups and colleges, magazines and books were just about the the only resources available. For most of us who knew those early days, it was much appreciated. We were hungry for any and all the information we could get our hands on. While you too should have the same eagerness to learn, today you have unlimited resources at your fingertips. American Photo is one of those resources. Pixiq is another.
After all, it is all about learning.
Here are a few articles from the current issue of American Photo.
