November Photo Contest
It is now time to announce the theme for our November Photo Contest here on Your Photo Tips. But first…
Due to laws governing prize contests it is my responsibility to update one rule as to qualifying entries. All entries into the photography contest must be United States entries only!!! My sincerest apologies to those of you who entered last month and planned on entering this month that do not qualify because of this. My hands are tied on this matter and it is an issue with international trade stuff that I don’t entirely understand.
This month’s contest is brought to you by our friends at Edge Tech Corp where you can find great deals on just about anything digital memory related. This month they offer the prize of 1GB Secure USB Flash Drive.

After speaking with last month’s winner raddad! and I decided to go with the theme of “Thanksgiving” and because the contest is restricted to those in the United States it will work out just fine. So once again, here’s how you enter.
- Upload contest entries to the Your Photo Tips.com Flickr Group and tagged appropriately for that month.
- Only 3 entries per Flickr account per month.
- Tag photos “yptthanksgiving”
- Winner will be chosen by the winner of the previous month and myself.
- Winner of each month gets to choose the “assignment” for the following month as well.
- Prizes are chosen by EDGE Tech Corp.
- Entries must reside in the 50 United States.
So go out there and create some interesting, original and creative photos with your interpretations of the theme “Thanksgiving” and don’t forget to tag them as “yptthanksgiving”. Contest winner will be announced Thursday November 27th, 2008.

Great prize for the contest, sori but I am not in US but I love photographing.
[...] The photo contest for November is underway with a theme of “Thanksgiving”. Sadly, the prize is only available to United States residents because of crazy international contest laws. Don’t forget to use the tag “yptthanksgiving” for your entries, and if you need more details you can find them here. [...]
