Occupy San Diego Activist Attacks Woman Recording Her
An Occupy San Diego protester attacked a woman video recording her in public because she suspected the woman was a member of the tea party - as if that gave her any more right.
According to the Youtube description:
On Nov. 8, 2011, in San Diego a woman trying to learn more about the occupy movement is attack by homeless Occupiers, because they thought they had a had a right to privacy in a public place and objected to being videotaped while occupying public side walks in San Diego. There were two reporters at this sight that were also threaten by occupiers, that left the area in fear.

I don't believe in hitting women but that dyke would meet my fist.
Everyone has a right to defend themselves regardless of gender. If a crazy woman on the street wants to try hitting me like a man for no reason, she's gonna learn real quick what it feels like to get hit back by a man.
People always say that women are the "weaker sex", but that's a load of bullshit. If they're going to resort to violence, they had better be prepared for the painful consequences.
My mother has always been a big proponent of equal rights and gender equality. She raised me to treat everyone with equal respect.
It's disrespectful to treat someone as being harmless, or ignore their bad behavior as if they were someone else's child, simply because they are female.
I wholeheartedly agree with you, if they can't take a punch, they shouldn't throw one.
Your headline is incorrect. I see one assault, by one person.
EDIT: Thank you for correcting it.
Apparently the 1st amendment only applies to people who agree with you.
By that standard, all Occupiers should go home immediately. After all, someone, somewhere, is bound to disagree with them.
Free speech for me, but not for thee. If it wasn't so despicable, it would be truly funny.
My grandfather warned me that I'd see things I wouldn't believe if I lived as long as he did, and every day he's proven more prescient than the day before.
How terribly sad.
Hey, Carlos, you need to have a word with fellow Pixiq blogger John Neel.

they are a pube away from getting their asses kicked...apparently, the cops playing nice and letting them pretend that they are actually accomplishing something has created a feeling of invincibility amongst the occupiers...their time is near
I also read where some of these asshats in San Diego decided to vandalize two street cart vendors because they stopped giving out free food.

The hippies are starting to piss me off. I'm glad that the Atlanta mayor put his foot down.
Don't confuse the hippies with the anarchists (or cops) that like to infiltrate them.
It seems that the occupy movements in many cities have evolved. Many homeless, mentally ill, criminal elements, and drug addicts have joined the cause. It seems like many of the original protesters have left and the whole cause if tearing apart from within. All you have to do is look at Portland, Oakland, and Vancouver to see what is happening to the movement. What started as a good idea has evolved into petty crime, robbery, vandalism, terrorism (see the Molotov cocktail story in Portland).
These are no longer the 99%er's, they are now the 5%er's, which I classify as the low life's of the society. I am a 99%er and I consider the occupy movement a failure.
The bottom 5% of those 99%.
Here is an interesting article on OregonLive.com, especially interesting is the second paragraph. This probably sums up what is happening in most cities in regards to the change in demographics of the camps.
