The thing about using Lightroom is that you have to use the internal Raw engine for processing. That's fine by me, but sometimes you might want to try other options, while still keeping your photos managed in Lightroom. That's where 'Open Directly' from John Beardsworth comes in. Open Directly allows you to send images to various different programs of your choice. The beauty of it is that it's sending the Raw/Original file, rather than a rendered file to those programs.
