Photojournalist Posts Video Of Her Arrest
Jennifer Weiss, one of the ten journalists arrested during Tuesday's Occupy Wall Street rally, just posted a video of her arrest.
The Agance France Presse photojournalist was thrown into the same paddy wagon as Jared Malsin, who also recorded his arrest. His video is below.
Both journalists repeatedly told the officer they were with the press, but that did not make a difference.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's spokesman tried to justify the arrests by saying they had no press credentials.
But the videos showed they were not breaking the law.

Credentials? CREDENTIALS !? We don' got to show you no STEENKENG CREDENTIALS !
Guess he should have stayed out of the street.
What the hell are you talking about? Both reporters were very clearly on the sidewalk, not in the street.
Probable cause is whatever Johnny Law sez it is.
He is doing his job, just like the officers in the street.
YOU DO NOT ARREST A JOURNALIST FOR COVERING A STORY!
Even if they were....since when is it illegal to be in a street?
Pretty much all the time. That's why we build those fancy sidewalks.
Did you watch the video? It's pretty clear in the 2nd video they are on the sidewalk. What's your defense now?
Rights like Freedom of Press are some of the basic requirements our Founding Fathers based our ENTIRE legal and political systems on. These rights are being endangered and flat-out violated by denying access to Occupy events to witness the police brutality going on in the police state we are being subjected to. Raise your voice and concern and defend the rights we are entitled to by spreading the word with these free posters I designed on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/11/propaganda-for-occupy-movemen...
