Pixiq Welcomes Michael Freeman!
To say that photographer, writer, world traveler and world-class instructor Michael Freeman is an inspirational guy would be an understatement. The work he has produced over the last thirty years describes not just a keen photographic eye, but also a clear fascination with humanity and its arts, culture, and history, particularly those of Southeast Asia. It should come as no surprise, therefore, that he's photographed more than forty stories for Smithsonian Magazine, on subjects as varied as the Birth and Death of the Universe, Angkor and Stonehenge.
Michael has also totally embraced the digital imaging revolution, with dozens of instructional books published and millions of copies sold around the world, including The Complete Guide to Digital Photography, soon to be in its 5th edition. Further testament to his love of teaching is his comprehensive design of the United Kingdom's Open College of the Arts photography curriculum.
Needless to say, we're thrilled to have Michael join the Pixiq community, and eagerly look forward to seeing what he has to say.

Thank you, Frank. I'm just as excited to be a part of this. You're all doing a fantastic job of bringing together these varied resources (I guess I'm a resource!). It's also great for someone like me, quite busy shooting and on the road a lot, that you make it all so easy. I made my first post yesterday, by the way, from Shanghai.
Welcome Michael! This is a new and exciting adventure for us all and you certainly personify our tag line, "Voice Your Vision!"
