Polaroid- beyond the Droid - Back into the Future
Camera Eyeglasses and then some
Wow! Polaroid is back, with a vengeance. And Lady Gaga is backing there devices- if you have seen the video, and I have, at:
http://www.polaroid.com/en/stream
then you, too, would be counting the days until May when these amazing devices arrive. (See YouTube video embedded at end of this post, too.)
Cheers for Polaroid and Zink, the company that has moved imaging into heat-sensitive output that requires no ink, no cartridges, just fabulous images that are tear-proof and waterproof. Kodak has nothing on them, at least as far as I know.
You must see the video to truly envision the possibilities; but I am most excited by the GL20 Camera glasses that allow the viewer to truly capture what he or she is seeing via sunglasses. I have imagined it, haven't we all? But Polaroid has done it. Time to buy their stock, again.

And the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer: what a dreamboat!! You can carry this baby in your purse (and I will) to pair with your bluetooth camera phone to print out pictures on the fly, all environmentally friendly. It prints 40 images on a single charge, and probably leaps tall buildings with a single bound, too. And it even boasts cool borders for the snaps; move over Kubota.

And remember using Polaroid film to shoot an image before using your good film? Well, this baby will pair with your DSLR to do the same (if your camera is enabled).
And then there is their new Polaroid camera, the GL30. I look forward to testing out all of these products.
All, I can say is THANK YOU, and I can't wait!!
