Polaroid PoGo 3x4 bounces into shops
If printing your pictures is your thing, then Polaroid has recently announced the new PoGo 3×4 Instant Print, a bigger version of its already available 2×3 Instant Print. The 3×4 instant printer connects to your mobile phone via USB or Bluetooth, and it’ll allow you to instantly (well, in under 50 seconds) print and share yourr mobile photos with friends and family. There’s no ink required as the printer uses ZINK (Zero Ink) Technology.
To go along with the printer, Polaroid has also launched an Android app that lets you add borders and write text on your prints. An iPhone app is apparently in the works. The PoGo 3×4 will be available just in time for the holiday season and will cost £99.99 ($156) with packs of 30 photo paper refills for £12.99 ($20).
While Polaroid continues to ride its reputation as an instant print company, changes in technology and trends may make things more difficult in the future. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t remember the last time I flicked through a stack of personal-sized photos, much less printed them out. Isn’t that what touch devices like iPhones are for? I suppose there will always be nostalgia for holding physical prints in your hand, but when it comes to practicality, I think I’d have more use with a pair of Phone Fingers.

I have the smaller zink printer and it is a lot of fun. If it worked with my iphone it would be the ultimate printer.
