Saturday Shout-Outs: Links We Love

Wired gives some highlights from the exhibit Exposed: Voyeurism, Surveillance and the Camera Since 1870 at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), which captures varying levels of photographic "intrusion" from hidden cameras, surveillance cameras, and various acts of violence caught on camera.

Time Magazine recently announced their 2010 Person of the Year (Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder), but for a look at the past, check out LIFE's gallery of Time's Person of the Year, which consists of 84 people and photos stemming all the way back to aviator Charles Lindbergh in 1927.

100 Eyes presents The American Dream slideshow, the results of a 2010 jurored competition. Rather than a parody of the American dream myth, Editor Andy Levin says it offers "reflections on the American dream, on what Americans aspire to be, and on how their aspirations, formulated by the visions of Hollywood, are often transmuted in ways that are not anticipated and that often make us uncomfortable."

Empire Magazine, celebrating a major anniversary, shows off its 20th birthday portfolio, a collection of 30 photos featuring actors in their most iconic poses.

Chase Jarvis asks, "Which Photo is Better: A or B?" on his blog. The two photos were taken for major sports company — and one was already chosen, which he'll reveal after everyone had weighed in.
