So...Let's Disqus
We’ve just added the Disqus commenting system to the Your Photo Tips blog.
You’ll be able to log into your Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, or OpenID profile to leave comments on all blog posts.
Furthermore, the comments will now be threaded similar to a forum where conversation will be much easier to follow allowing you guys to have a better and more intuitive conversation.
So, please take a look. Let me know how you feel about the new commenting system and Disqus it!

Disqus is pretty cool. I was using Intense Debate but it started messing up the comments and started assigning comments to wrong posts. I will have to try Disqus next.
Disqus works well for me. It also makes for easy commenting on other people's blogs.
Interesting, so is there any particular advantage of signing in with my Twitter or Facebook?
I think the "advantage" is to encourage more people to comment by allowing them to sign in with a platform that they are familiar with. Most people still don't have their own blogs or websites so using a Twitter or Facebook account allows them to connect their comments to their social lives.
This is just my observation so far. I could be way off the mark.
Signing in with your Twitter or Facebook also sends the info to that account as either a 'Tweet' or an 'update'.
Yeah, I had heard that about Intense Debate which is why I ultimately went with Disqus. I'd been looking at both for quite a while and Disqus just seemed to fit best within this blog.
It does seem to make conversation a little easier to keep up with.
Nice addition. There are so many social sites now that you need to select carefully.
That is a great idea to be able to login through other networks to be able to blog. Unfortunately I do not currently use any of those networks. Still I could see the benefits for people who are members.
Yep, stick with the biggest and you can't go wrong.
You can actually set up a profile at http://disqus.com which will allow you to easily manage how your comments appear in many blogs across the Internet.
I figure, stick to the big ones like Twitter and Facebook and you can't go
wrong, right?
Dude its fraking awesome, I just installed it on my blog a few months ago and I have gotted more visirs since. Seems to draw people tocmment from all over so that gets more ppl exposed to your site tea?
Awesome man.
just trying disqus out on my blogs too!
I think its important to make it as easy as possible for people to comment, and this is helping my sites already. Are you finding any increase in the quality or quantity of comments yet?
Hey Damien,
I enjoy your photo tips and the post of your blog and I am amazed by looking DISQUS at your blog.
I must say you re moving with the time. You did a wonderful task as now I comment here from my facebook account too.
Yeah, I'm really liking it so far.
I think the conversation is starting to pick up a bit.
I like Disqus, as it gives you the independence from the hassels of filling in your names and E-mails again and again, which is really annoying for me.
It looks good as well, and it is looking good on your blog :)
I would say a great addition indeed, i really love sites that are easy to interact, I have been struggling to find as good sites as yours.
Todd

I think the disqus comments system is better then many other comment's system and it is resemblance is similar to forum.
