Canon Speedlite Workshops
Ooh, this one could be interesting. Well, interesting if you want to learn more about Speedliting. If you don’t, then you might be better returning to your regular schedule. The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (and its partner societies) have teamed up with Canon and Syl Arena to offer a series of workshops exploring Speedliting.
If you want to learn more about lighting, this is your chance. Two different sessions, both led by Syl Arena, are on offer: Speedlites Demystified & Untangled and Taking Creative Speedliting To The Next Level. They’re touring the UK (London, Burgess Hill, Southampton, Caerphilly, Birmingham, Southport, Manchester, Leeds) between 1 and 13 September.
A session will set you back £30, but you’ll receive a £30 Canon voucher in return, too. (There are of course terms and conditions.)
If you’re based in the USA and feel as if you’re missing out here, fear not, the tour is heading across the Atlantic in October. Sessions will be available in Seattle, Portland, Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Austin, Costa Mesa, and San Francisco. There’s an intensive five day workshop in Paso Robles, too. Prices for you guys are a bit different.
Interested? Want to know more? Take a look here if you’re in the UK, and here if you’re in the US.
