Stave off Depression with Vitamin D and a dose of Photography

Waterloo, NY

As if we needed one, here is another reason to get out into the sun and photograph: low levels of vitamin D have been linked to depression, according to UT Southwestern Medical Center psychiatrists working with the Cooper Center Longitudinal Study. It is believed to be the largest such investigation ever undertaken. And we already know that a positive attitude can increase happiness so, beyond taking your prescriptive Vitamin D supplements (my brother, the doctor, recommens a minimum of 1000 mg per day), get out there and shoot something worth remembering and if you want alter it into art. More on that in my next post and in my new book, Digital Image Transfer: Creating Art With Your Photography.  Ever art and light on ...
