Studio in a Bag
What to do When You Can't Get a Bricks and Mortar Studio
Studio space... the final frontier. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be stuck in town of West Nowhere, in the State of Confusion, without a decent space to shoot in. Heck, even in NY sometimes, you’re on location and you need to do a quick shoot in a studio environment with a white or a hung backdrop.
Well the guys at IPS-Studio.com have come up with an interesting solution. Gotta love this one. Rain starting to come down and every other photographer is pulling out flimsy, cheesy , $3 umbrellas, but not you Bunky.
You pull a studio out of your kit (along with the fans to inflate it) and because you have a “studio in a bag”!

Check it out on their website. They have a variety of studio sizes. One with a white translucent ceiling for light and one with a side window for viewing in or out. Plus I’m sure that can customize one for your unique needs.
I talk to one of the principles and they will be producing better product photos this spring when the weather gets better. Right now NY is great if you want a "studio in an igloo". When they inflate one of these babies this spring, I hope to be around and do a video report. But right now, I’m waiting for that assignment where I can say “Wait a minute, I got a great idea! We can……” just to see the client's face. Love it.
