The Exercise of Looking
Here’s a good exercise to try out.
Go to a museum or gallery.
This means stepping away from your computer, close that laptop, head out the door, and find a museum or gallery!
Find a photograph that interests you.
Something that just speaks to you. It tells you a story, it draws you in for whatever reason.
Look at it for five minutes.
That’s five whole minutes to really let it soak in. Truly absorb that image.
Don’t take your eyes off the picture.
Let it soak.

Now that's a good idea, I can't remember the last time I did this. I'm too busy thinking about what to shoot or how to do it etc..
Thanks for reminding me to just stop and enjoy once in a while, I'm going to do this... and I'm sure it will inspire!
