The "Hole" Month of January!

I find it hard to believe that we are already halfway through the third week of January!
It seems that the month of January has an annual affect on my photography.
Each January, I find myself with a renewed interest in pinhole photography. While I am crazy nuts about most photography, pinhole photography is probably my craziest obsession. For thousands of pinholers around the globe, it is a celebration of simplicity and a way to play with the very basics of recording light. We find it magical!
In response to my fixation, I've begun creating posts about pinhole imaging. Two of the posts below will lead you through easy steps for making your very own fully functional paper pinhole camera.
For years, Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day has been my "groundhog day". Knowing that it will happen at the end of April means that I have something to plan for that I love to do. Part of the to do, is building the contraption that I will use to produce my pinhole image for the world to see.
Perhaps you might test your own skill at this very ancient imaging technology. While it is easy and fun, you should be warned that there is a great probability that you may find your own addiction. To me, it is worth the risk, as it is not a bad addiction to have!
Between now and WPPD, I plan to post a number of pinhole related articles, galleries and links.
