TSA Screener Brings Woman To Tears Through Aggressive Body Search
But for once, they do not harass the man videotaping it
At least the Transportation Security Administration official didn't prevent the man from videotaping a screener running her hands up and down the body of a female passenger to the point that she was in tears.
So maybe TSA is finally learning that videography is permitted at security checkpoints.
But now it begs the question to what extent must we go through in order to enjoy the privilege of traveling?
The law states that police need some type of reasonable suspicion before they can grope your body.
Yet the same law also allows TSA screeners to do the same simply because you choose to opt-out of a full body scanner.
The above video, which was uploaded Tuesday, was recorded at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
The man who uploaded the video goes by marklyon on Flyertalk, where he gives his account of what took place.
The female passenger walked away sobbing, saying she felt humiliated.
Remember that old adage about how the terrorists hate us for our freedoms?
Using that logic, they probably don't hate us as much anymore.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
Let me throw this in here as well...
“Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or legislation which would abrogate them.” Miranda v. Arizona, 384 US 436, 491.
When will people stand up? Hard to mis-interpret the fourth amendment. These searches are both unconstitutional and illegal.
Don't give me that bullshit about choosing not to fly. I like my civil rights and I choose to not let Fatherland Security chip away at them.
I don't get it....why do people have a problem
with fat little stupid people groping their breasts
and crotches under the guise of "security."
Oh yeah, enjoy the flight...
Saves me the $20 I'd normally have to pay for that service. ;^)
Clearly, this woman was a bit confused as to what they wanted her to do exactly. Why oh why don't they have a wall with two hand outlines so we all can just 'assume the position'? Everybody knows that position from watching TV. "Now bend over and spread 'em"
TJ:
i have a problem with males touching me, do you or anyone here know of we get to choose a female to do the touching, and if its against policy to tip if they do a good job? "oh finished searching already, well, just to make sure you didnt miss anything, please search again", [tsa]-"sure NP".....LMFAO
Save the drama for the theater lady.
Johnny Law, being a cunt as usual.
It's a rare day when he's not a cunt, but it does happen.
It's a new low, even for him.
Johnny tw@tw@ffle... A troll's troll.
Please mate, some respect. A cunt is a beautiful thing with a delectable odor and this character is more like a roidy arsehole with the stink of his master's jizz on his breath..
You'll keep Johnny. :)
Can't wait to see your drama when the citizens arrest you and take you to your lamp post.

Videos like this are excellent ways of revealing authoritarians (I won't say who, but he's easily identified by the implied worship of statute above all else in his chosen name) who reflexively have contempt for citizens who cannot simply comply with the government's arbitrary and useless invasions of privacy. The authoritarian believes these policies to be fair and reasonable simply because they are the legally binding.
Throughout history, authoritarians have similarly approved of much worse kinds of government abuse towards its citizens, using the exact same reasoning. Their tiny reserves of human compassion are expressed mostly for the state and its agents.
Does this person think it is okay to give a subject a concussion even though that person wasn't doing anything wrong?
No, this person thinks it is okay to give a subject a concussion even though the subject isn't resisting arrest. But thank you for playing.
"Legally binding" is a bluff by thugs. Legally binding, says who? The guy with the gun of course. Right now JL thinks that's him, but any tick of the clock a critical mass of people can wake up to the total bullshit nature of Johnny Law and his little game of authority, and then JL is rat shit. He like all nasty vile subhuman traitors to their own kind gets hung from a lamp post, in a "Legally binding" manner.
To be honest, I have seen worse assaults, even though i think this is completely wrong.
What I really can't stand is people need to STOP USING VERTICAL PANORAMA when recording! what the fuck is this?
Johnny, here's a serious question for you. At what point should the government actually come up with something that is forward-thinking and useful, instead of something that's reactive, unnecessarily restrictive, and just strips away more of our freedoms?
To everyone, flying is a right, not a privilege, as some would have you believe.

Just an FYI - if you watch the video and read Mark Lyon's commentary (whether made on YouTube or FlyerTalk - I can't remember), she didn't opt out of the scanner. She had gone through the scanner to avoid the groping.
TSA no longer sees that anything including video will be able to stop them - they see themselves as non-impenetrable now. They are God as they see it.
At least this lady did not have them go into her pants and under her blouse as they usually do.
but the latest thing is that TSA will be doing prostate exams and mammograms soon and other invasive things. Practicing medicine without a license will be legal for them. And you think a little video tape bothers them with all that power over us that WE ALLOW THEM TO HAVE !?
Why don't the people fight back ? Are they THAT brainwashed to think any of this has anything to do with 'security' ? It's only designed to de-humanize them and take away their free will and dignity. THAT IS THE ONLY PURPOSE ! It's OUR 'submissive to DC' training ! If they ever did anything like that to me, they would end up in the hospital !
These filthy TSA swine need to have an open day declared on their heads.\\
Decent people should gather their details and when the revolution comes, HANG EM HIGH!
Next time you fly, get one of these HIV t-shirts.
Then opt out of the scanners.
Break into a fit of coughing when those rubber gloves get near you and enjoy the look on the face of the TSA groper!
Who the fuck does the fat short arse bitch thinks she is

Carlos: I was, unfortunately, told to stop filming several times that day. Thanks to people who filmed before me, though, I knew how to respond: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xwr5iuueFgo
There are several more videos from the same day (my flight was delayed for several hours) in my youtube channel.
Never thought I would see this in America. I can only imagine what my father's generation (WWII cohort) would be doing about this.

Listen up all of you. Once again I'm going to explain how to put a stop to this BS. Everyone at the gate refuse to go through the xray and the pat down. Why? Because once everyone refuses, the plane sits on the ground. The airline will want to know why is their plane still sitting there.
Then you will see change. It them in the pocket book. Money talks bull shit walks. Now go for it you cowards.
Um, to me it seems that she's upset with being filmed and states that she is humiliated by the man doing the filming. While I agree that the searches are wrong, it is apparent, at least to me, that she was upset about being filmed without her consent.
Voice of Reason but not of observation. She clearly and audibly asks mark if hes is taking video to which he says yes to which she replies "can I get a copy" to which he says yes and gives her his card at the end to contact him to send her a copy. Thank you for playing try again.
"I don't mind being sexually assaulted in public for no reason so long as there is no video taken"
Jeezzz Trolls and their trolling
It's cool, I logged Johnny Law's I.P.
Hope he enjoys his computer privileges while he still has them :]
The only drama queen here is the rent-a-cop who likes taking it up the butt in airports.

I just dint get all the drama. It's as if all you folks were asleep on 9/11 or during any of the other subsequent attacks on planes. If you travel by air, you are going to have to clear security. Bitching about your flight being made safer just seems pointless. That woman was not held up, she was not mistreated. They do the same pat down the cops do. Takes a few seconds and if you don't have anything to hide, you're on your way. Pole will complain up and down the next time a plane goes down. But can't see the reason for such security measures in the meantime. Everyone thinks everyone else should get the pat down, just not themselves.
Seriously, if you're gonna fly, get used to it. Otherwise, drive please and quit your bitchin.
And the headline is misleading...that search was in no way aggressive.
