Video Of Daily Caller Reporter Getting Shoved Musters No Sympathy From Right-Wing Readers
Daily Caller reporter Michelle Fields was not arrested, but ended up getting shoved to the ground by NYPD officers during Thursday's demonstration.
The incident was caught on video, including a segment where she was helped by Occupy Wall Street activists, who walked her away from the scene and tried to calm the obviously distraught journalist.
The Daily Caller then posted the video on their site to show their readers what took place.
While it doesn't appear she was singled out for being a reporter, it is obvious she was trying to get the story, which sometimes can be dangerous.
But the video did not muster an ounce of sympathy from their readers.
Why? Because the Daily Caller is a right-wing publication and Occupy Wall Street is a left-wing movement.
And nothing displays human ignorance more than political extremism.
Below is a screen shot of a few comments, including the embarrasing comment from Flyovercountry who attempts to give the others a history lesson on how our founding fathers gave us the right to peaceful assemble before he criticized the occupiers for assembling without a permit.
And here's the story from Think Progress, a left-wing publication, in case you want to see what their commenters had to say.

Gee and pixiq.com is a left wing site.
It once was a photography site but left/right politics is the choice Carlos chooses now.
Yes Brainiac.
Because reporting the treasonous acts of the paramilitary is somehow politically motivated.
Go F*ck yourself and your anti-Constitutional vomit.
Carlos correctly pointed out that one side was more to the right, and the other side was more to the left.
Pointing out obvious differences is not the same a choosing a side. Go untwist your panties, and try reading articles without a preconception
Cry me a river. I agree 100% with Kor630.
Colour me shocked.
Obviously, the right-wing eat their own children for breakfast. Okay, that's an overstatement, but if they cannot stand up for one of their own, where the opposition does, what conclusion can we draw from it?
The right complain about a liberal press. Maybe the press is liberal, maybe it isn't, but if this is representative of how the right treat the press on their own side and of how the left treat the press even when they are in opposition, then I wouldn't be surprised to see defections occur from right to left.
Perhaps the title of Carlos story should have been:
"Left Wing Liberals Whine When People Don't Agree with Them!"
Perhaps if these people weren't breaking laws by the thousands, were peaceful, etc people would not see them as idiots.
Murders, rapes, drug deaths, drug use, beatings, media intimidation, anti-Semitic comments, trespassing on private property, public urination and defecation, etc all destroy the one ounce of credibility these people had.
Screw them! If they weren't participating in their self originated, permit-less protests, there'd be no issue.
All they are doing is far increasing class warfare, and Obama has remained silent. Remember, nothing like this happened under Bush, Clinton, etc.
I look at those crowds and try to fine 5 people I'd hire to work in one of my offices. Haven't been able to. Not once. Oh, yes, I do care how the people look who represent my business.
No sorrow here. They put themselves into this situation, just like when they took out those student loans and when they chose liberal arts or english as a major (or chose to go to Stanford over a state school) and now they have to sleep in the bed they made.
This is simply a novel concept to most of them: I am responsible for MY actions.,
Note to all: NOBODY OWES YOU ANYTHING. A JOB, A HOUSE, MEDICAL CARE, NOTHING!
Notliberal
Notaliberal, but a Douchbag.
"If they weren't participating in their self originated, permit-less protests, there'd be no issue."
Doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose to obtain a permit for a protest?
Not when the law says you have to. Remember that Constitution thingy that you mention when it suits your position. All laws have to pass the constitutionality test and those permit laws have stood up to the test no matter what Carlos' law say.
I used to enjoy this sight before you became blatantly partisan in your judgement calls.
Im conservative and I always side with the guy getting picked on/abused by the cops. In this case however she just got caught in the middle. Thats what happens when you have a mob. The Cops could care less if she's press, conservative or liberal.
LOL at kctldf.
As if the liberal media doesn't exist. How many have been fired or suspended for their words? Too many to list here.
Dan Rather was caught producing a story using known fake documents on the eve of the 2004 election. He was forced out over it (fired). He lost his suit again CBS for false termination, as well.
NOBODY OWES ANYONE ANYTHING. Why does one class of society have the financial burden of the other? Why am I forced to pay the bills of another because I worked hard, took risks and educated myself?
I have no choice in paying taxes, and being taxed at the highest rate, I am essentially indentured to serve the financial needs of others. How is that fair?
Notliberal
"As if the liberal media doesn't exist. How many have been fired or suspended for their words? Too many to list here."
You've missed the point. I've just told you why the media is liberal. I've even given you all the hints you need to change it. Of course, conservatism is about non-change, so I guess there's no danger of that.
Let me be more blunt about it: The media are liberal because liberals are kind to the media, even the conservative media, while conservatives are cruel to the media, even conservative media.
"Dan Rather was caught"
Yes he was. That is something that wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been doing the wrong thing.
I think most people, of any political view, condemn his actions. I certainly do. In order not to, you would have not only to be liberal, but also to believe that the ends justify the means in and of themselves.
I agree some of the comments are a little harsh and they are eating their own, but I also don't really have any sympathy for the reporter. I mean c'mon lady you're in between the protestors and the cops, what did you think was going to happen?
Rights like Freedom of Press are some of the basic requirements our Founding Fathers based our ENTIRE legal and political systems on. These rights are being endangered and flat-out violated by denying access to Occupy events to witness the police brutality going on in the police state we are being subjected to. Raise your voice and concern and defend the rights we are entitled to by spreading the word with these free posters I designed on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/11/propaganda-for-occupy-movemen...
"Freedom of the press" actually means the government can't stop you from expressing your communication through the media of your choice. It doesn't mean you are free to go anywhere and do anything to get that story. For instance reporters can't just ignore police tape and walk onto a crime scene.
And none of that happened here.
Thank you for posting this video. At the end where she is crying is hysterical, we all had a good laugh. Keep the video's coming, they are great.
Thanks Lutz Man for exposing your true colors as Johnny Tard's sock puppet.
POS.
So wait, unless you get a permit to protest you are a thug? LOL! Must be a nice world that guy lives in... Where the Constitution doesn't matter.
Or am I wrong and does it contain the right to "freely assemble, but only if you first get a permit"?
You want dangerous? Try covering war. You think a member of the press gets a pass during a firefight?
Nobody is saying that's not dangerous. In fact, I think everybody would agree that it's dangerous. However, in America, reporters should not have to worry as much - they shouldn't be in a dangerous situation nearly as often, and the biggest problem here is that the only DANGER to these people were THE COPS. It's certainly one thing to be attacked by criminals of some sort, but the cops?
Oh, fuck it, they ARE criminals.
