Here are some great links to one of the greatest new discoveries in photography. Vivian Maier was a recently discovered female photographer who photographed in Chicago and New York. Her work was discovered shortly after her death in 2009.

The work was never shown during her lifetime. Her work with a Rolleiflex twin lens camera during the 1950's to the 1970's ranks as high as any of the great street photographers of our time. Her perceptive eye has captured thousands of extraordinary images of life in the streets.
