Waders

I've never been much of a bird watcher.  Saturday, however, while waiting for some blue winged teal I had several wading birds cruise past my blind so naturally, I shot a few images.

Watching these birds go about their business was fascinating.  The are fast, efficient hunters that are constantly on the move in search for food.

Furthermore, the fact that these birds find their way to such an arid place like the Texas Panhandle is incredible.
