If you like bugs and macro photography (who doesn’t?) then you’ll be sure to enjoy this series of critter photographs.

One of my favorite magazines is Life.  Some of the most memorable photography has come from this old friend.  Here are a few that should send you down memory’s lane.

August 13-22 a group exhibition will be displayed on the beautifully decaying walls of seven rooms in the old Greek Revival Hotel section of Maxon Mills.  The exhibition is titled “Sea Change” and is a look at the complicated relationship humans and animals have.  This examination is important as we are still in the wake of one of the greatest man-made disasters with the BP oil spill.

I love books.  Not just books on art and photography, books on almost anything really.  This post made me smile with it’s collection of photographs of people reading.  Nice.

Scott at Weekly Photo Tips is doing a rundown on free image editing software.  Nice.  You’ll no doubt want to check out his reviews on Photoscape and Photobie as alternatives to paid software programs for photo manipulation.
