A roundup of photography goodness from around the Interwebs!
Photography Gear
This beauty above is the new FujiFilm X10 just announced by FujiFilm. Touted as the smaller brother to the X100 it is "an enthusiast compact with a F2.0-2.8, 28-112mm-equivalent lens. It's built around a 2/3" (6.6 x 8.8mm) CMOS sensor that uses Fujifilm's EXR pixel arrangement." Tons of details here. On paper it looks like a really great camera. I'm anxious to see some hands on reviews when the camera is released.
If you're not a big fan of traditional camera straps the fine folks at Photojojo have a pretty slick "handy strap" for your camera. It does look like it could be pretty handy.
Facebook self portraits are sure to get better with the Samsung MV800 with super flexible LCD. So there's that.
Mike Johnston of The Online Photographer (one of my favorite blogs) has some really interesting thoughts on the likely failure in marketing for the Sony A77. It sounds like a great camera but will photographers shy away from it?
Business of Photography
Garnering attention for your photography business is important when you're a working photographer. Keeping the attention of your existing clients and potential clients is equally important yet it's often not something that many photographers put a ton of focus on. One of the best ways is to use a newsletter as a marketing tool. Do you use a newsletter to market your photography?
Photography Tutorials
The biggest essential for photography is, of course, light. When we don't have enough light we turn to our flashes. If you're still having trouble when using flash this on-camera flash tutorial will help shine some light on those issues.
Travelling with your photo gear can be a bit scary for the uninitiated. So here are some great tips for air travel with your photography gear. Fly away!
Photography Inspiration
Here at Pixiq we love books. It's always nice to see other photographers sharing books that inspire them. Reading is fundamental after all.
Breaking: Photography News to Blow Your Mind!!!
Breaking: Flickr actually updated something on their site. Run and get the kids 'cause the sky may be falling. It appears that Flickr added a feature to their geotagging services and it's actually a pretty cool feature!
